DESCRIPTION:
Lyre banjo, wall clock, 8 days, time only, weight driven Willard type period movement with T-bridge suspension in a reproduction gold fronted case with some older elements and reverse painted throat and lower tablets. The painted metal dial has Roman numerals and girandole style hands.
CONDITION:
the case is in like new condition and looks great. The period banjo movement has T-bridge suspension, typical of the Willard workshop The dial is also period, but is an old repaint and the hands are custom hand made reproductions.
